            Approach

We craft each of our intervention programs with the science and tools of Applied Behavior Analysis. Our services are personalized to fit each client's unique needs and learning style. Each program is comprehensive; targeted to build social, communicative, academic, self- care, and play skills while reducing problem behaviors. No two programs are ever the same.

            Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding socially significant behavior and discovering what variables influence those behaviors. It is said to be a technology of improving behavior (Baer, Wolf, and Risley, 1968).

We apply this science to accomplish meaningful goals including teaching new, desirable behavior, replacing problem behavior and improving the quality of behavior.

Principles and procedures we use on a regular basis include: assessment of functional relations between the behavior and variables that affect or influence the behavior, positive reinforcement, least intrusive prompts and systematic prompt fading, differential reinforcement schedules, behavior shaping, task analysis, behavior chaining, and function-based procedures to increase, reduce, or replace behavior.
